Hypothesis
Logistics is a process, a set of operations… and a labour market which covers all sectors of activities and a wide range of jobs.
The relations between job demand and job offer cannot be reduced to the interaction individual/enterprise. The training policy, the social dialog, the employment agencies…therefore it is important that all the inputs from these intermediary bodies be taken into account.
Employment and training matters at least in logistics combine regional, national, European as well as sectorial, transversal logics according to the type of concern and of job.
A common and broad definition of Logistics
Logistics systems deal with transformation of goods in terms of time and place.

Logistics involves managing flows from the supplier to the user, and the consumer, based on forecast or defined requirements: physical flows of materials and goods, information flows, related administrative flows, in view of the expected effectiveness and quality of services.

The Novalog project gathers together 11 representative and complementary partners, which allow us to ensure a good geographical coverage. These partners are used to work on European projects.
The Social Partners represented in the road transport sector committee by the IRU (International Road Union) for the employers associations and the ETF (European Transport Federation) for union organisations, have members in the European Union including for the IRU in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe.
The European Logistic Association (ELA) combines 36 trade associations, training and research bodies involved in logistics and represented in all the member states of the European Union as well as in Hungary and Poland.
The search for information and the country by country analysis have been divided between 5 partners.
